it receives more federal founding than any US independent hospital
Cleveland Clinic
The hospital is historically known for it's medical breakthroughs and organ transplants, including the first face transplants in the US

Mayo Clinic
The largest and original Mayo Clinic has been in Rochester, Minnesota, since 1989. Across it's 19 hospital in 5 states.
It sees about 1.3 million people from 138 countries every year. It's home to over 4,800 staff physicians and scientists and over 4,000 full time research personnel.
The clinic also recently announced several new cancer inactivates.
